LIVI

NICS have commissioned Livi to provide a number of digital GP appointments to the patients of NICS. Appointments are available 7am – 10pm weekdays, and 8am – 4pm on weekends. 

How does it work?

To Book an appointment you must be a registered patient of your local GP Practice in NICS. You can download the LIVI App and book an video call appointment with a GP at a time that suits you.

See a GP wherever you are

LIVI allows you to book a digital appointment to see a GP wherever you are. You can have a GP appointment at work, home, or even from abroad.

Get prescriptions or referrals

Your appointment does not only offer you a chance to talk to a GP. If needed your LIVI doctor can write you a prescription and send it to your choice of pharmacy. They may refer you to the appropriate specialty, if needed.  

No need to wait

Log on to the App and get an appointment via a drop in queue, or alternatively, you can book an appointment up to 7 days in advance

You must be registered to one of the Practices in NICS to be eligible. If you are unsure if your practice is a NICS Practice check out our Partnered Practices. 

Nothing. Under the NICS/LIVI partnership NICS Patients do not have to pay for LIVI services. 

Almost certainly not. While some NICS GP also work with LIVI you are highly unlikely to get your GP assigned to your consultation.

Yes. All LIVI Doctors are GMC registered, and under the NICS/LIVI Partnership will have access to patient medical history.

LIVI and NICS Partnership

NICS was the LIVI’s first partner in the UK in September 2018. Thanks to this trailblazing partnership LIVI has now expanded to over 230 practices, with 3 million patients having access to LIVI. In recognition of this innovation NICS and LIVI were nominated and then selected as finalists for the 2019 HSJ Awards in the category Primary Care Innovation.
